My girl

Today was Ali’s first day at her toddler preschool, it was so bittersweet. She just ran off and started playing with other kids, didn’t even care that I was having a moment over leaving her for the first time…

I stuck around for a bit just to make sure everything was ok, and was able to witness a miracle. Ali listened and followed multi step directions, the first time the teacher asked! She scooped her own cereal and poured the milk herself, without spilling a drop! Then proceeded to sit her little ass down and eat like a human without making any sort of mess at all! Then put her dishes up! Jen and I really need to raise the bar at home…

Ready for school! She really loves that darn backpack.

TTC.  We are in the middle of it right now, sperm is in the mail and everything.  I have been having lots of thoughts about the fully medicated route we are taking, that teeny tiny piece of me that’s still a crystals and aromatherapy loving hippy is screaming in protest at the meds and ultrasounds and that godawful hsg where the damn doctor murdered my cervix, but jeez, sperm is too expensive to just keep banging away month after month! Not to be all open about our money, but we have spent about $5,000 so far on this hypothetical second kid.  My hippy side is just going to have to deal with it.

First, she is absolutely adorable. Second, my inner hippy is having to cower in the corner as we pursue the “monitored” path this time. Seven rounds of trying the simplest, most natural route didn’t take, so we’re on to ultrasounds. HSG tomorrow. Good luck to you on #2!!

Isn’t it amazing what they do when we are not around?!? Judge still wants us to feed him and I am damn sure they do not do that at daycare. I try and always think well hopefully they act like good kids in public and fool everyone.
    Good luck on the TTC!
